Warning: Pings!

So this just happened to me and I thought I’d share to warn people. If you have your net out when a villager pings you, be careful! I just accidentally hit my villager with the net while trying to talk to her and she no longer had anything to tell me!! Hopefully this saves someone the disappointment that I just went through!

I too have done this a few times. I get so mad at myself. I felt so bad when I did it to Whitney yesterday

That happened to me with Cherry a week ago. I felt so sorry for hitting her and sad that I couldn't find out what she'd wanted to tell me.

Yeah it's happened to me before but I don't worry about it. They probably wanted to sell you something or give you something. or maybe they wanted to give you a nickname.

Also, don't have your pockets full when walking around. Merengue pinged last night, but after talking to her, she "forgot" what she was going to say. Hoping she wasn't trying to give me her picture.

I've done this multiple times, though it never happened during a ping. Just me trying to talk to them. I hit Lolly twice in a row.

Oh god I felt so bad today because the same thing happened with Sprinkle when she pinged me I'm assuming to teach me a reaction and I accidentally hit her with my net, felt really bad!

I've been cautious about this since NL. This is something that can be even worse for people dealing with drifting issues.

This reminds me of something that happened to me last night. I was going around shaking my trees for the two daily furniture and Freya pinged me, and as I shook a tree a wasp nest fell out and spooked her and she ran away and no longer wanted to speak with me. ) :
