Wait, what? (About the Bunny Day event)

So I just saw this post on tumblr...

Once your town rolls over to bunny day, many rocks will spawn all over your town. This is for the purpose of breaking them to find Stone Eggs to turn in for Zipper T. Bunny?s prizes.

There?s a REALLY high chance that the event will glitch out where the rocks will not be removed the following day, and they?ll turn into normal unbreakable rocks.

So be sure to break all the rocks before the event ends in order to prevent this bug from happening!

And now I'm slightly terrified to participate. Has this ever actually happened to anyone?

If I understand correctly, to avoid the rock glitch, you want to be sure to break them all before you save and quit for the day. As long as you don't start again until the next day, you should be fine, right?

Yeah, I've been hoping they'd push out a patch for it at least the week before... They're cutting it close, if they plan on doing anything before Sunday. Doubt it though.

I haven't had this problem and I've run over Bunny Day a few times while trying to get Purrl to move out.

I've heard it's fairly uncommon, but more common that first thought. It'd be nice if Nintendo had at least a comment on the subject.

Nintendo literally gives no ****s about NL or ANY of its innumerous bugs or complaints. They released it, they raked in the money and they only laugh when we send in complaints lmaooooo
They don't care. They will not patch it.
(btw do you want dora??? shes in my new town and im scared as all hell of her so i will literally throw her at you if you need her)

Yikes, this is worrisome! I'm not there yet, but I hope by the time I do the event, someone will have cleared up if this is just a rumor or not. I know where all my rocks are so I could probably deal with it. But it would be nice not to worry.

Also, what happens if you have patterns all over your town? Do the rocks just not generate then? Wonder if you can maneuver them into a certain spot by just clearing away those patterns (kind of like fossils and clovers etc)...

I actually tted to Bunny Day. Luckily, I tried to break all the rocks because I was really desperate for eggs.
There were actually a lot of rocks.
