Visiting old town in Dream Suite

I just read somewhere that somewhere visited their old town when they were visiting Dream Towns. I didn't even think that was possible so I went to the Dream suite and entered my old town name (it's the same as my current but I thought maybe my town name was less common then my character's name) and I actually found it! I was quite suprised because I didn't actually think I would see "Polaris ............ Leo" lol. When I went there I had trouble getting around it but I knew it was my old town because I recognized the pattern I used for my paths It was kind of depressing.

So has anyone ever done this before?

Edit: Uhh... yeah I just realized a typo in this lol. I said "...someone visited their own town..." but I meant "...someone visited their old town...". It's fixed though

Yep! I'm actually in my old town right now. I was shocked because I thought once you reset you town, it just disappears/erases forever.

Nintendo did a server update about a year ago. Luna gave me a new dream address however she never deleted my old dream address. My old dream address is: 5800-2109-5020. Last time I checked (back in January), it was still there. xD It's good to see my old villagers and see the progress I made since last July.

Wow how cool! I would have thought it would have been deleted after a while!
Doesn't Luna tell you that your dream adress will be taken down if it isn't updated often and people don't visit frequently enough? weeeeeeiiiiird but very cool!

Yeah lol. I find it strange since I deleted that town in November (last year (obviously haha) So that's plenty of time for it to not be updated and I think it should've been deleted already.
