Visiting for Inspiration & Friendship

Now that I finally have paid off my home loans, I'm working on improving the overall look of my town. Could I possible come over to someone's town to see how you have everything set up?

Other than inspiration, I'm also looking for friends to visit, have over, and go to the island with. I have no one to play with and that gets pretty lonely /:
