I invited a Japanese player over recently and he had trouble communicating what he thought of my town. He basically kept saying
"not good :L"
"change bad"
"this good "
and he kept hitting Claudia with a net. He liked my other villagers I think but he would say "not good" at the strangest times. We were standing still on my path for a good minute before he said "not good!" I don't know where it was he meant.

I visited his town in spite and it kind've backfired because DANG, this guy can DECORATE HARDCORE.

I think you can do so much better, no offense. The paths are kind of generic and plain, meaning I've seen the same thing in so many dream towns (including my own, but I'm currently working on creating an original path). I would pick one with more accents or border it with more bushes, flowers, trees, and etc. You could even border it with more paths. Thehe flower arrangement needs work too. It kinda looks like you placed random flowers together in rows. I would do a variety of patterns instead and have more hybrids. Some of the bushes would look better connected. Put more emphasis around pwps such as your globe and it will look so much nicer.

One of the best ways to improve your town is to check out other dreams.It's a great way to get inspired and get ideas.Mine are well decorated, but also kind of simple.You can check them out if you like.

Please remember that there is no wrong way to decorate.We all have our own style.Do what you like, and what pleases you.I have had probably over a hundred dream reviews.Most people love my towns, but a few have criticized just about everything I did.I didn't make changes to please them.It's my town.I have had a few suggestions that I agreed with and it helped make my town a little better though.

As for this guy saying "no good".Don't let that bother you.Even famous artists aren't liked by everyone.I had a person review my town and they called down everything.I checked out his town and couldn't believe what a mess it was.lol.I know your story is opposite, but I thought I would share anyway.lol.

My dream town hasn't really been updated I guess. I don't remember the date I redid it. Maybe last month? But I haven't changed anything really...It's a pain to change every little detail and I'd need a lot of time and help. I have no idea what I want it to look like. I lack creativity and I hate that I'll have to copy someone else. I visited allot of towns and I tried to copy each one but each seem to have a little kick in it that makes it THAT town. I haven't been able to really define what my town is. I went for modern when I should've went for Zen or Rustic. I cannot change it since I have the Modern Police Station. If I changed it now, it would look tacky. I wish I hadn't messed up.

I thought the path looked Modern to be honest.

First of all, I don't see anything wrong with your town.The flowers look great and I like your path.The colorful fruit trees next to the railroad tracks look nice.I think your bushes look good too.I would just suggest placing some hybrids in between them.

I actually really liked your town 0u0 and I thought your paths really matched the environment of your town.

You have a lot of space, but I don't think it's a wrong thing. In fact, I am a little envious that I don't have as much space in my town. The space gives a unique charm and you have more places to put PWP that you like. ^-^

And if you want to give a zen feel to your town, I think you can still do it even if your town is more modern-ish. Maybe you can put a small forest near your camp or something like that. Or you can put a bamboo/zen garden to give a relaxing vibe in some other place.

Anyway, you still have the chance to do a lot with your town, so don't get discouraged. Maybe you can look at a complete list of PWP and see what you would like to have in your town and maybe it could give you some ideas? =) It all depends on what you wish to do with it 0u0
