Villagers whose personalities do not work?

For me, it's Tammy the sisterly cub. Her eyeshadow and eye shape make her seem like a snooty.

teddy. he looks too cute to be a jock who just lifts weight in the most random spots on my island at like 3am lmfao. i suppose the same can be said about dom. i don't think these two fits their jock personality. i would believe it more if teddy's a normal type and dom a lazy type since the latter kinda gives off a spacey/airhead typa vibe to me.

Sometimes I like when the personality doesn't quite fit.

Tad is just a lil frog but he acts all tough with his jock personality it's so cute.

Same here! Marshal and Raymond both look like they should be crankies; I think their smug personalities actually work well with them and that their appearances make them extra special (to me at least ^.^). Punchy looks like he should be a smug; again, his lazy personality works and I just love that sassy expression .

Static looks like he could be a smug but he’s
a cranky; I think I want to invite him if I meet him to my village; his design keeps growing on me each time I see his picture. I seriously like quite a few villagers for having appearances that don’t match their personalities.

I actually kinda like how Dom doesn’t look like a jock either. Initially I didn’t like his design and he too is growing on me.

Gayle looks like a peppy to me.

I think Pango should have stayed snooty. She has way too much eye makeup to be peppy.

Pango has always been peppy btw. The only peppy villagers to have their personalities changed are Charlise, Paula, Plucky, and Violet.

to me it's judy! she looks nothing like a snooty... like she doesn't match their "vibe" if it makes sense? maybe it's a good thing (probably is) but i swear i thought she's a peppy after i first saw her.

Rowan definitely looks like he should be cranky and not jock, actually I think they changed him from cranky to a jock in later games which I don't understand considering there are already 2 orange tigers who are also jocks. Guess what I'm saying is change Rowan back to cranky!

Audie tbh. I'm not sure the wolf design suits peppy villagers. She would be better as a sisterly.
And Mint! I only just found out she's a snooty not a peppy! I was shocked...

When I was a kid I had Blaire in my WW town, and didn't realize she was snooty for a long time... She doesn't look snooty to me from appearance alone. Also Anicotti should have been changed to sisterly, so we can have a sisterly mouse.

You mean to tell me that this pipsqueak and tiny bear have deeper voices than some animals bigger than them??

(I realized this when I found Murphy on a mystery island; I thought he was jock or lazy but he suddenly talked with a deep voice and I was surprised.)

Static as a cranky initially surprised me just because it's funny to see a little squirrel with a deep, low voice. I think it makes sense after you become familiar with him, though.

Haha I had him in New Leaf and yes it was so strange to hear his voice for the first time, but it made me laugh every single time he talked so he was really a keeper.

Definitely Dom, i loved his design but hated the jock talk (so much that i let him leave when he asked). If he'd been a lazy or smug, i would've kept him as i like those personalities

But I have to agree with this. Im not a big fan of jock talk either except with some characters who makes it funny like Sprocket, but with Dom I really wished he was lazy. Somehow I think that fits a lot better with his looks.

I was really surprised Antonio turned out to be a jock! A though he was a lazy or at least smug. Still love him to bits tho lol
