Anchovy:
Type: Lazy.
Species: Bird.
Reason for letting him go: I've picked Anchovy just to test the camping feature and he was allowed to leave once he asked.

Hopper:
Type: Cranky.
Species: Pinguin.
Reason for letting him go: I had 3 penguins in Acme and Hopper was not really desired.
I liked his design, but I could not had so many penguins and I've let him go when he asked to move out.

I've let Chow go since I wasn't really fond of his design.
He asked to leave few days after sending a letter talking about his b-day.

Lolly, because she neither came to my birthday nor sent me a birthday letter. And I thought she was my mayor's bestie!

Olivia. I love her, but she moved in from my little brothers town and wouldn't stop mentioning it. Also because she moved in a undesirable place and I had 3 other cat villagers in town at the time and was desperate for room.

Frobert since he was rather undesirable.
I could not even imagine someone who would like him in their towns...

Chief. I loved him (especially how he gave me a pear when I didn't have any), but I just thought it was time to move on.

I've still got all my original villagers, fond of most of them. Until recently I never plot reset, just took what I got, and on the whole that has worked very well/OK.
But with several towns I've ended up with 3 Zells, 2 Opals, 2 Sprinkles and 2 Phoebes so the duplicates I'll now move out replacing with amiibo card villagers.
The only villagers I've not got duplicates but still not over fond of are Sylvia (uchi kangaroo) & Gigi (snooty frog) so I might let them leave.
I'm a slow player tho, still not used the reader & amiibo cards. I've scanned Isabelle figurine tho, not enamoured to get Wisp in the THall.

I really liked my good pal Tammy, but I let her go because 1) I already have two bear-cosplaying player characters in my town and 2) I already had Rocket as an Uchi and I realised I'd rather have 2 peppies than 2 uchis in my town so. It was hard, but when she said she wanted to go live new adventures, I let her.

After she left she sent me her pic with her farewell letter, so that's pretty awesome. I accidentally threw out the letter itself though, 'cause I'm an idiot XD

I let Flurry go because I was honestly sick of her. She was also never too friendly with me, and her goodbye letter was super short.

Having the Amiibo cards makes it a lot easier to say goodbye. I get pretty attached to my villagers but my strong curiosity about what some of the other animals might be like makes me try to cycle them out once in a while to keep meeting new ones. I sometimes regret letting Stitches move away, but he was my next door neighbor for a year and after a while I got tired of hearing the same jokes.

I've let Katt go since I wasn't fond of her design.
And it's ironic that she is nowere charming as Katt Monroe from Star Fox series.

I had a hard time letting go of my originals because I was very attached to them. They weren't necessarily popular villagers, only Erik and Merengue are considered popular of the starters I had, but some of them had been there for so long that I thought my town wouldn't be the same without them. I used to decline every move request, until I realised that change is a good thing and that there are other villagers out there that I'd like to try. I still have Erik, I don't think I'll ever let him go unless I accidentally lose him.

Merengue was maybe the toughest loss for me because it was accidental, but I guess I've let her go in a sense now because I don't care about getting her back.

Bree was also a hard decision for me, I think she was my first snooty and I really loved her. I decided I wanted other snooties though, so I let her go. Actually the saddest thing about letting Bree go was that nobody wanted her when I put her up for adoption on Gamefaqs back then.

Now I'm thinking about letting Wendy go because her house is right in front of my town hall, and I really want to do something with the space there. I've always hated where she plotted her house but I just lived with it because I liked Wendy a lot after a while. Maybe some say I'll get her amiibo card so I can get her back.

I liked Peewee but I let him go because I didn't want to get too attached to him to keep him as Chow is one of my dreamies and is a cranky villager too.

Jambette lived in both NewLeaf and Joyville as an starter however I don't liked her design and that snooty like appearance.
Besides the frogs are not really of my taste so she was allowed to move out in both.

The Jambette who got a new home was the one from NewLeaf while the other from Joyville went to the void.

I just let Maple go even tho she's a cutie because her house ruined tons of plants and I was annoyed, lmao. I can't grow to love a villager if I resent where they plotted tbh :/
