Villagers wearing sunglasses you haven't given them?

Two of my villagers are wearing sunglasses this morning, but I never gave them any. I got Hornsby from another island, so he might have already had them, but Sprinkle was from a Nook Miles island. Are sunglasses something villagers can wear autonomously?

This is something that happens with multiple villagers! Tipper and Yuka, two snooty villagers I found on Nook Miles islands, have one pair of glasses they're always wearing. It goes with their design and was programmed in by the developers. On the other hand, I'm trying to puzzle out where a blue collared shirt Dobie is wearing came from...

That explains why talking to Isabelle didn't do anything. They're default sunglasses. Glasses just look weird on rhinos, lol.
