I'm having a huge inner-conflict right now. I have Mira as a villager, and she's a sweetheart in both design and personality. She hasn't asked to move or anything but despite how much I like her, I don't know if I'd be able to reject her moving away.
Why? Her house is almost RIGHT in front of mine. And not even in front of it in a way that aligns with me. Just look at this picture here.
Does anyone else have a villager like this? Or alternatively, a villager that you like personality wise but dislike design wise? That's how I am with Lionel and Limberg. They're incredibly nice to me, but their designs are just... blegh. It's difficult having villagers who you like but have these inconveniences with them.
I love Kiki; I got her from a trade with Maruchan ^.^, however, she moved in right in front of one of my bridges. I had to tear the bridge down because her house was almost blocking it completely and it didn't look good. I'm still going to keep her though; I just have one less bridge . I don't know if she would've moved somewhere else had I not put a public works project on the spot where Blanche's house was located (south of my house near a cliff); I was saving it for the sphinx...until I found out the Sphinx didn't face the way I wanted it to.
I used to have Chrissy and Mira had lined up with her perfectly.
Once I finally got through cycling, she went smack dab between the cafe and the flower arch in front of it.
*le sigh*
But I'm not letting go of her again.
2. Absolutely this has happened to me. The culprit was Rolf. All my villagers live on the bottom of my map along the coast, and Rolf moved in on the north half directly between The Roost and the police station. Eventually I grew to love it though - I just picture him hanging out with Brewster and Booker and it makes me laugh.
Pietro, the dear multicoloured freaky lambchop. He just moved in and landed almost perfectly over the spot Bones' house had been, but one tile to the left.
One.
Tile.
To the left.
One tile to the left and right smack overtop of my path that USED TO BE a straight run from one of the bridges up to the plaza.
Watch where you're puttin' that house, ya' clown!!!
Coach's house is in a really crummy spot... it's right by the cliff. it'd be a lot better if it were just one more space away! oh well...
also Bunnie, but I'm gonna be letting her go so... that's okay. I can finally see if I can make my park area work over there. it'll be a bit awkward since Butch is pretty close, but there's plenty of space.
I had Chief for like 5 months since I started the game in January. I got him from the tent and he decided it'd be cool beans to plant his house in front of one of my bridges. It didn't bother me for a while until I decided to landscape my town, then I saw how horrible that house looked right there, plaguing that bridge's entrance. I let him go a day ago, he'll be missed but it had to be done.
In my first town I absolutely loved Rosie, but she decided to plop herself right in front of town hall. She was about 1 space away from a cliff, so placing paths around her was just honestly awful.
Drift, ugh. He moved not only on top of my blue rose breeding bed, but on top of my path AND right next to the bridge. I also wish Walker and Lolly weren't so close to my house (Walker behind it a few spaces and Lolly immediately two spaces over), but I really like both of them, so I just live with it.
oh god Colton house is almost near re-tail. I'm going for a I'll try to see what I can do about it first and work around it, but yeah sometimes it just bugs me that he's there, but I really love Colton.
Frita used to be before she moved out. She was almost directly in front of my house so I had to let her go. When I finally do get her back, she'll be in a much better spot so she can stay forever.
Apollo. He is my absolute favorite villager, but his house is right in between two other houses and it looks weird. It doesn't annoy me so much that I want him to leave my town, but I don't like it.
Lucky's house is right in front of the mayor's mansion and Ribbot put his in front of my main bridge. They're both dreamies so I'll keep them. Ribbot even talked about moving today. I almost said yes.
