Villagers that went from "who?" to "don't leave EVER!!!"

For me it would be Lolly! I wasn't familiar with her in past games lol. But she was one of the beginning villagers who moved in. I ended up loving her that she's a permanent resident on my island! I believe she has the beginner house but it's okay I don't mind it. xD

I guess Bangle fits this for me. At the time I invited her I didn’t know about any of the villagers so they were all a surprise. She is my original peppy and (as I have been writing on the ‘who’s the best peppy thread) I love her to bits now. I don’t remember how many peppies I saw before I adopted her, but I know I was not quite sure I would like her, but that I liked her more than Audie, who I’d just seen (and who wears the same original outfit, so they seemed kind of similar at the time). I was running out of tickets and ready to be done island hopping and she was cute so I invited her. Now she’s one of my favorites and never leaving.

Lol most of my villagers, so Kody, Midge, Beau, Julian, and Vivian. I accepted some of these as they were better than others in my opinion, but now I love them all too much to let them go.

tabby was my random peppy and i was so annoyed that i got her but she wormed her way into my heart same with my random move in cranky tom like i really wanted to replace him with another cranky but im so attached to him hes my tiny cat dad

I'm so happy there are people who like Tabby. She's definitely one of my favorites.

When I first saw Ursala and Dobie's Amiibo, they turned into that The best part, of course, is that I can ALWAYS have them since I have their cards~

Also, not quite "you can never leave" but definitely "you can't leave until I get a good replacement for you and I have your pic"- Coach. When I first saw him I was like... eww. Ugly bull. But then I talked to him and looked at him closer and realized he's pretty cute. He's also the only bull who isn't cranky or lazy, which is kind of neat! Also, I came up with an idea in my head that he's a retired athletic coach who moved to an island to relax... but he still can't stop helping others stay fit because he's such a coach at heart. I have his pic now and I'd be open to losing him if I could find another cute jock... but I'm also super happy with him for now

Olive! I was literally like "um, who is even this?" when i first saw her on a nook island! It was because i failed to memoreize the welcome amiibo villagers and nl was my first ac game which she was not part of before the update came out. She was the only reason i kept putting off restarting my island, i didnt wanna lose her! I plan on getting her again on my new one.
