villagers that look like they'd have a different personality

While I figured he'd be smug, after one of my friends brought up the possibility that Raymond could be cranky during the speculation before the game came out, I was hoping he would be.

I think pretty much all the new villagers could be a different personality easy.

Audie - snooty
Judy - peppy or even normal
Reneigh - snooty
Megan - uchi
Dom - lazy
Cyd - jock
Raymond - cranky

Sherb is the only one that I think fits his personality perfectly.

I really like that some villagers don't "look" like their personality. It'd be boring if none of them broke the mold.
Pate doesn't look like your average peppy, I'd say. But what is peppy? Can a duck not be peppy if she's not pink and cutesy?
What is "jock" but an adoration for muscles? Why should snooty = wearing heavy makeup?
(I'm being overly philosophical for fun over here lol)

I have Al, and I'm always seeing him exercising. However, he's not a jock, he's lazy. I was so convinced he was a jock, that before ever finding out, I had bought him a protein shake and placed it on his table outside his house.

I thought Tex would be a Jock at first. The jacket he wears looks like the type a stereotypical highschool jock would wear in a movie.

I didn't know what I was expecting for Pietro, but Smug was at like the least I expected. I only knew he was Smug because I found out all forced campsite visitors were Smug.

I definitely think they wanted us to be thrown a curveball finding out the new villagers’ personalities! As soon as I heard Judy was snooty, I had assumed the pattern would carry with some unusual matches & was right! I definitely like how most of them don’t look the type.

- Static no longer looks Cranky since they turned his frown upside down in his design. Because of the eyes, it ends up looking Smug

- Rudy doesn't look like a Jock. I had him as a starter and it kinda threw me - he looks like a male Normal

- Bettina doesn't look Normal, she looks like hitler

I agree about Blaire, Judy, and Audie!

Why did I not ever notice the Static redesign?? That’s actually kinda crazy

Tybalt the tiger is a Jock but with his eyebrows I thought he looked like a Cranky

Prior to getting him in my town I always accepted that Marshal was smug, however now that I do have him I really don't feel like he suits the personality. He just seems super edgy and angry, if there was a personality halfway between smug and cranky that would be perfect for him.

I thought Velma was a normal villager for a while when I first played ACNL because of how sweet she was to me (and also her appearance too), turns out - she's snooty!

Dom looked like a peppy villager to me at first but he is a jock!

Jambette - I thought was a snooty like many other posters but is actually normal

I have Al who looks a lot like a jock villager but is lazy instead. oddly enough, he spends a lot of his time working out in my town and all his furniture is gym equipment.

I thought Audie was snooty until I asked for people to recommend a peppy villager to me.

When I saw Judy's design before launch, I figured she would be peppy. As soon as I found out she was snooty I gave up on my idea of getting Judy, Diana, and Julian together for a pastel section on my island. Lol


I thought Tabby should be Uchi. Her appears screams more "big sis" energy than "popstar" to me?
