Villagers that change their mind about moving. Ugh.

Everytime they do that to me... I literally spend 5 minutes hitting them with a net before resetting and then ignoring them, because I know theyre gonna move anyway so it doesnt matter.

Chow comes up to me today and says he's moving. This is my weeding town, so I always let them move if they want. I want to see who else will show up. When I agree, he says that he's changed his mind and that we need to spend more time together to become better friends. Why would he do that???

I think this happened one other time. I seem to recall a villager saying something like "Oh, you're so funny. You'd never let me move."

Frustrating. Has this ever happened to you.

Happened to me with my most recent villager who planned to move, Chops. I shut off the game and let him re-ping me because I do not like him at all lol

Yes, I know that, but if you had not already saved your game after that conversation, you could have quit without saving. When you had gone back into the game, Chow would have pinged you again ... because he was the "moving ping of the day". You could ignore this ping and he would still move. You could also just talk to him when he pinged that second time and maybe that time he would have agreed to move instead of saying he would stay.

Of course, if you had already saved, it was then too late. Just good information to have if someone you want out does this again in the future.

Oh, I see! Thanks for the tip. I didn't know you could do that. I'll try it next time.

I haven't had this happen yet, because I've decided to ignore the villagers that are moving, even if they ping me, because I will not let them decide not to move. No matter what. I just can't have those villagers I need moving out staying longer!

I remember when Peggy did that to me in my old town. Her house was grouped with two other villagers, except it was unaligned with the other two so I was happy to get her out. I thought I was pretty chill with her, but apparently I should've "put up more of a fuss" so she decided to "stay till she won me over".

omg i hate it when villagers change their mind about moving.. this happened with me and Chops... i hated chops the smug pig. His personality didnt not fit well with me and i wanted him out!! Finally when he said he was going to move out i said thanks and the next day, he changed his mind because he said he had unfinished business left in mochi and im like -_-; seriously?! Lol so now when a villager asks to move out i just say yes and do not talk to them again until the day they're in boxes. lol

This happened to me like, 5 times with Kody. It got really annoying having to reset after he changed his mind.

I...hate...Cyrano!!! he did this to me exactly 4 times, and I was so mad i hit him with the net , and zes i counted, 650 times! And guess what? he is still here!

Lots of villagers have done that to me if I don't want to keep them I just turn off my game
