Villagers switching tunes?

I don't know if this is a normal thing or not...

but it seems two of my villagers have switched their tunes (you know when you talk to them and they each have their own version of your town's tune). I just spoke to Anabelle and all of a sudden she had Ankha's egyptian tune, so weird!

Has this happened to anyone else?

right! its almost upsetting because the egyptian theme is so unique to ankha but now her tunes gone! oh well haha

Nope not at all! It's actually an alice in wonderland themed tune.
Now Ankha's is higher pitched and normal sounding.

It's the price you pay if you don't trap them, and let them talk to each other. They tend to swap a TON with each other. I learned that the hard way in the original/Wild World...

I didn't even know this was possible, I thought that what your town tune sounded like when you spoke to them was set by the game for each villager and couldn't be changed. Maybe it's a glitch?

Yeah after making this thread im assuming its some sort of glitch! Maybe because when I got Ankha i was time travelling often and it screwed something up with my game! Oh well its kind of funny hearing Anabelle with it!

This is NOT something that normally happens which is why there is thread about it. She is not talking about the catch phrase, she is talking about the Little tune that your villager sings when you first talk to them. I think you misunderstood :3

She posted the video on Tumblr and it is very much true. I can't belive it either, but she's not wrong. XD
