Villagers Pictures?

Have any of you gotten a picture yet?
I'm working on it, but so much effort and patience ughhh.

I'm hoping to get Gladys! c:

Though I heard that villagers can move even though you tell them not to, but at least I will be able to trade them for someone nice then lol

I want Olaf's picture so badly! That wonderful ant eater is my bested friend in the entire universe. I cannot be at piece with the world until his picture is within my possession.

I've read that, sometimes, you get their picture after you complete a petition for them by getting signatures from animals in another town. I haven't done this, and I haven't gotten any picture yet. I'm hoping to get Rolf's or Avery's first. They're my favorite villagers.

I will not let Gladys leave until I get her picture for real ;~;

You can get a picture of every villager in your town in April Fools' Day. Easiest method, but it's less satisfying, besides, April is months away from now (but there's always time travel. Don't do it!). I think it's better to get it the hard way, though, by maintaining a good relationship with them. I have Mott's, Del's, Bunnie's, Cube's, Alice's, and Bone's pictures already.

What do you mean by petition?

Sometimes, instead of asking you to run an errand or to trade something, a villager might ask you to get 6 signatures for a petition, and they need to come from animals in another town.

I haven't gotten any yet. I'm trying to get them from all of my villagers. I do favors for them, give them medicine when they're sick, talk to them, and write them letters all the time. I haven't had anyone ask me for petition signatures yet though.

I haven't had a request for petition signatures yet either...hopefully soon! And wow, that's amazing I'm jealous of all the pictures you have gotten, pjcr!

One of my villagers asked me to do this, and I turned her down because I was busy for the day. I didn't realize it was for the picture. Will they ever go back and ask again?

My boyfriend did a petition and needed to come to my town to get sigs, he never got the villagers picture though.

How long have you guys who have gotten pictures been playing NL? And do you guys talk everyday for more than 10 times?

I heard in NL that you get them in a letter when the villager moves out. My first villager moves out today so I'll see if this is true.

I've only ever done a petition for Shrunk so again can't comment on if petition signing gets them, I imagine not, it helps to contribute perhaps, but not be the deciding factor.

I've gotten Beau's picture through doing a petition for him. You won't always get their picture though, it's not a guarantee. I did one for Bonbon and got a shirt. >_>

Either way, be sure to accept petitions if you get them offered! It's one of the ways to get pictures for sure.

For the poster who asked, I've been playing since June 6th and I usually don't speak to villager any more than a couple times a day.
