Villagers Never Asking for Anything?

For two months of playing the game, I’ve only had to catch bugs or fish and passing the things back to other villagers. Not one asked me if they could visit my house.

Ive been asked for random bugs and fish a few times but the last one was weeks ago. I hope they got the message that I don't want those in their houses

I'm curious how long you play and how long you've been with you villagers? I am constantly getting villagers running up to me giving me stuff for free or asking me for deliveries. At least twice a day.

I personally wish we could remove items from their houses as I really don't need Fang to give Judy an oven that doesn't match her decor...

For me it’s very rare for anything other than gifting/selling random clothing.

Iirc, I found lost items all of three times and had requests for fish/bugs twice. Never had any deliveries.
Other than Ankha, I’ve had all my villagers for a long time.

Early on I gifted Wolfgang a soft-serve hat because I thought it’d be funny to see him in it, but he just put it in his house. :\

I might not be remembering right, but wasn’t there a flea market event in another AC where you could buy things from villagers houses? Hopefully that comes back in an update.

I get a request or two most days. It usually takes talking to each villager 5 times (I usually do this consecutively). I get fish and bug requests as well as delivery requests. I also get occasional lost item quests, and more rarely treasure hunts and sick villagers. Its *definitely* a lot less frequent than it used to be though.

I only get asked for bugs, fish, gifts or treasure hunts. I wish villagers can visit again and ask for fruits.

I haven’t gotten any requests either June asked for a wharf roach once, but that was it. Kinda sad because I would love to try to complete some requests.

This is kind of an insane amount of work to get requests though. I know it dinged your friendship if you rejected/failed the request in NL, maybe the devs are overcompensating for that? But all you'd have to do is not have it affect their friendship...

In NH you lose relationship if you fail the request, but not if you decline it. Different from NL!
