Villagers hoarding furniture?

Recently I adopted Benjamin because I wanted to get the sloppy set, and I've cleared him of almost all his sloppy furniture in his house but the only problem is that he's gifted me three of the items but the rest are who knows where. I assume they're in his pockets because they haven't shown up at retail and he hasn't given me any of them. Does anyone know how I can smoke them out of his pockets? It's the sloppy table, bed, and something else I forgot.



Also side note, but are there any other villagers that have pieces of the sloppy set in their house besides Benjamin?

Marshal also has the sloppy set in his house, I'm not sure how to get them to give it to you though.

Hi, I think the overpopular Marshal has pieces of the sloppy forniture.

About the pieces in Benjamin's pocket, I don't really know a fast way to make him sell it on retail, perhaps if you give him more forniture? he will have to clearance his inventory?

IMO the easiest way to get a villagers furniture, is to never sell them anything, or send them anything. Don't trade with them, just don't interact with them if it involves their furniture. Wait for them to invite you over, and when you talk to them enough they will always offer to sell you something. Then you can buy their furniture, but at some points you'll find furniture they don't wanna sell. They also won't sell you furniture with surfaces, if they have stuff sitting on it. I would buy all of the furniture they'll sell you first. Then start sending them things, trading them, etc for the rest. It lowers the risks of losing more of their items.

For the furniture they won't sell, you can give them something the same size when they ask for new furniture and have them replace it. They'll give you the item they're replacing.
