This is honestly the most annoying thing -_-
i was walking around the town, placing paths, and it honestly seemed empty, so i go to the Museum, and Timbra is in the paintings section, Drago is in the Fossils, AND Cherry is in the Fish Section

Ridiculous!

I think it's really cool, actually. In previous games you'd occasionally find one of them drinking coffee in the Roost. But now they actually go in shops and into the museum! It just adds to the depth of the game, in my opinion. :)

I agree it's a good thing, but not when 3 of your villagers are there :p

I agree completely. It was sort of silly how in previous games, you spent time and effort to build up a museum that no one visited but you. I really like the new routines for villagers- makes it feel more like an actual village.

I understand how that could be annoying. It's especially annoying when you have to deliver a present to someone and you're running all over town looking for them and you find out that they are on Main St. *sigh*

It would be really nice if on their door, when they are on Main Street, it would say: "Out on the town!" or "Out shopping!" instead of the usual "I'm not here right now". Then it would be SO much easier to track them down.

I do love villagers in retail though, when they actually buy items :D

Me too :) I used to hate how they would stand OUTSIDE Nook's for hours and hours and say how they loved shopping and they checked the shops every day and they would never even go inside!

It's a nice feature. I like how they appear in stores and such.

It's only annoying when I need to find them.

Well, how awful would it be to not be able to play until 8pm and then go shopping only to see everything sold out.

Yess that's a really good idea!

That would be pretty bad, but even in NL, don't they only buy stuff in Re-Tail? And even then you can say whether you want them to buy it or not. It just made me really mad that they didn't even go in :L

Yeah, but you said that never actually buy anything which is actually a good thing. They do go in the shops.

I like it, it feels like I've done something for the town when the inhabitants are looking at things I've donated. I haven't had any problems locating them yet.

I went to a friends town and found 3 of his villagers in the fish section... all 3, I had looked for them for ages too ??
