Oh, French nicknames! That's neat! Wish I could be a 'pelote'.

I made Chops call me 'mon ami' a few months ago... I think that can be translated as "my friend", right?

That's a little weird, to want to be called pelote but why not XD I didn't know what they could call me so I asked them to just say 'cachou' (thought it was cute) or 'Dolph' (my nickname IRL).
And yup, that's right, it means 'my friend'! But if you're a girl you should put an 'E' to 'ami' n_n

Octavian gave me "june bug" as a nickname, and it hasn't changed since. I think I like that one a lot. :]

It's really cool and poetic in my opinion n_n

I normally just keep everyone calling me by my mayor's name, Dahlia. But one time someone suggested "Sweet-D" which reminded me of Sweet Dee from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and I couldn't say no to that.

I usually agree to the nicknames they want to call me, but some of them are so bad (Like A-Cat or Dr. A) I have to turn them down. My two current nicknames are "kid" and "shmoopy."

Merengue gave me the nickname 'sweetie'. I'd rather just keep her using it. I don't think it would fit if the others became influenced.

Bob recently called me A bear. It sounded so stupid I had to say yes. I hope it passes to other villagers. If I don't like their suggestion, I ask to be called Tyki.

lmao. That's awesome. I switched my game to French language one day and I have an alt called deesee ( goddess) now. It sure beats being called Old Dog.

Well... I can't just say "No" when they come so happy to tell me the nicknames! F-Cat and pop satar were the worst, buuut now they call me "cupcake" or "muffin", that's better

Of my original town... I actually HATE changes, don't like things to change so I over-attach to things... that may be the reason why Poppy, Elvis, Pietro, Pierce and Bangle are still in my town, from the first day until now <3 I've played for like... 7 months now, and they were always there <3 I love them, and they are going to stay forever! (except for Pietro, he's going to move soon </3 )

I always like to hear what they come up with. It's usually not anything good though. So I hear them out, and then make them call me Princess. Which is super cheesy, admittedly, but my one chance in life to have someone call me that. XD
