Villagers giving you nicknames.

Do you like it when they give you nicknames?

I love how I managed to get Olivia to say 'sweetie' to me everytime we talk. I also made Colton address me as 'sir' everytime we speak. It's like the best thing ever.

Then there's Cousteau calling me 'beefcake' lol. It's super weird and I had no idea why I even accpted the name in the first place XD

Also, Out of the starting Villagers how many are left in your town?

I have Monty and Olivia left, I intend on keeping Olivia but Monty could go either way. I want to celebrate his birthday first.

I hate when they try to give me nicknames. I hate turning them down, but I hate being called L-Cat even more.

LOL L-cat. Lately they've been calling me Robo X ... but it doesn't bother me too much since I never really read what they say as I button-smash through their dialogues.

If the nicknames are too generic like R-Bot or Dr. R then I hate nicknames. I don't turn them down though because I feel bad.

As for the starting villagers, they are all gone sadly.

I never turn down their nickname requests but some of them are really awful.
Right now my nicknames are Muffin and Cookie. Not bad.

I've got all my starting villagers. Gala, Bree, Kabuki, Hugh, Jitters.

I don't mind the nicknames. Bree started calling me "sweetie," and it spread to all the female villagers. I drew the line at Jitters the jock bird calling me sweetie, though.

Gala calls me "lamb," and she's the only one.

I've been "old dog" to several of my villagers for a long time. Some of them now call me "my man."

I like how catchphrases make the rounds. I told Bree several times she couldn't stop saying cheeseball, so half my town was saying it. In my other town, I just missed a conversation between Mallary and Hippeaux, but he started using her catchphrase (quackpth) immediately afterward. I guess he was asking permission!

Every other day they ask me about a greeting, nickname, or catchphrase.

I like some of the nicknames they give me. Axel gave me Super A, which I thought was super cute. Miss A (can't remember who started that) was cute as well.

Other ones like "lamb" are weird, so I always make them call me something else. "Lovvie" is definitely one of my favorites though.

I know, like, two of them used to call me Dumpling or something along the lines of that. xdd

Bettina started it all by calling me Y-Puff. Now the whole town calls me that and I want to strangle them all, really. No respect for their mayor, I tell you! D=

It's been 'beefcake' for a while but 'genius' is the new one that's catching on.

Egbert started calling me "boss", which I'm completely cool with, and it spread.
Tipper decided to be an iconoclast and insists on calling me "darling", which really does not go with my image. Hopefully nobody else starts that one up...
Wolfgang was calling me "old dog" for a long time, which amused me with him being a wolf, but I think he's started using "boss" now as well.

I don't really like the nicknames that use the first letter of your name. My favorite one is Genji's nickname for me: Cleats.

Leonardo came up with a dumb nickname for me, then he asked what I'd prefer so then he called me Kit Kat. :3 I liked it.

I got Diana to call me 'sweetie', Flora call me 'pop star', Pekoe call me 'dearie'(was saving that for Fauna), Tank call me 'ladybro', and Keaton call me 'genius'.

Diana offered to call me Fancy E(she seems to know that I dress fancily in my town) but I prefer being 'sweetie'.
When I get Jacques later I'll get him to call 'mon amie'.

I always just go with whatever nicknames they give me -- I think they're funny. I have been through so many nicknames... The only nickname I ever disliked was "beefcake"... Naturally, it happened in Wild World where I had no say in the matter and didn't have the ability to turn it down after Boone suggested it. -_-
