I'm definitely going to have to add my support for Diana and Muffy. I don't know about Marshal, though. He's adorable, I'll give you that, but he doesn't really strike me as "fancy". For smug villagers, I'd say Beardo and Chops are the fanciest.

Ah, thank you for your input on that! I have a small list planned with the villagers I like the most on it (meaning the ones that are the fanciest). And although Marshal isn't fancy, I had a thought that maybe he could be like a visitor? For some reason I would think of him as someone that would travel to fancy places to see them; I don't know why. xD I guess he's always had that vibe for me!
I may trade him out though, if I find a better character for the job.
Oh, and for a peppy villager, I decided that Sprinkle would be the best because she looks like a cupcake. I honestly think she would fit better than Cookie.

Smug – Julian the Unicorn
Normal – Merengue the Rhino

Normal – Tia the Elephant
Uchi – Muffy the Sheep
Peppy – Sprinkle the Penguin
Smug – Chadder the Mouse
Cranky – Gaston the Rabbit

I wanted to get a little bit of every villager personality. If there's another villager you would rather see, feel free to let me know and I'll think about changing it!

That's good enough. I just realized that Chadder is also a fancy guy(he wears a tux).

I don't really know about Bonbon, but I'd recommend Lolly.

Yeah, both of them are good, apparently! Lolly was one of my original dreamies too, so I'll think about her.
I just picked Chadder because he looks like cheese, plus his catchphrase is "fromage", which I believe is cheese in French. I can't be sure though, since I don't take French classes! xD

Both of them are good choices too. ^^ I'm not exactly sure what the list is, but it's on my profile page. Marshal is one of them, not because I like him but because of my own personal experiences, though if he becomes too tough to find I'll trade him out. I've come across a dream village where someone had Marshal in their town, which was fancy-styled, and I honestly think he might be good because most of the other villagers are obviously dessert/food styled. Marshal is a character you might have to think about as someone in that type of town, which I think adds some creativity to the town theme. Decisions aren't permanent yet, though, and although they might be I might also change them too.
