I'm wondering, what happens if I transfer my villagers from my Japanese game to my English game?
Do their catchphrase changes to the original in English or it goes 'hu-uh' as when you report them to Isabelle?

im not too sure , but I'd like to hear the answer c:

I'm pretty sure if the catchphrase is original, it defaults to the English one. Not sure about what happens if you've changed it, though.

If anyone that did that before can answer us, that would be awesome! :)

I noticed one of mine has this 'uh-uh' thing but I'm not sure if it got from another villager I have, or if came with it from the JP game.

If you reset it in the Japanese game, then it would have the catchphrase they get when you reset it, which I'm guessing is "uh-huh" or whatever in the English game. I trade villagers from my Japanese game all the time to people, and they get the original catchphrase.

Oh so if I didn't change in the JP game, it will have their originak english equivalent in the ENG games? That's really cool to know! :) Thanks ^_^
