Villagers being bought..

Hi guys! I'm a newbie at ACNL, tips and tricks and all this forum, trading stuff.
I am also the girl with dumb questions
When buying villagers, does there plot arrive the next day? The villager I just bought from someone had said "Meet you there!" And am not sure if she would be here, or in the morning (As it is 1am!!)

The town refreshes itself every 6am so check sometime after that. You might want to look up plot resetting if you're still new. I haven't actually received villagers through this method yet so I don't know how long it takes for them to appear. I assume it's one day though.
