Villagers asking for more perfect fruit?

Alright, so we've all gotten the occasional perfect fruit request from a villager and, if you're anything like me, have had to turn it down since you don't have any. It stinks whenever you get those requests, especially when the "no" option is phrased really mean. However, I've been having an issue; over the past few weeks, I've gotten a request for a perfect fruit at least once a day. I scoured my whole town to see if somehow one had grown, but no luck. Does anyone know why I'm suddenly having perfect fruit requests piled on me each day?

Think it's just a random request. My villagers always ask for a mixture of normal fruit and perfect fruit. I can give you a basket of 9 perfect peaches if you need, just private message me if you're interested!!

I think certain personalities will start to request perfect fruit more often if you've befriended enough and the game detects you have a fair amount of perfect fruit trees planted...

If I recall, I think it's Peppy, Snooty and Smug villagers that are more likely to request perfect fruit.

Ohh, ok. That explains it; I have a lot of snooty and smug villagers. :X

Odd, I've never experienced having villagers request for perfect fruit, even when I have a high friendship level with them.

When you start your town, you should have 1 perfect fruit on one of your fruit trees. If you plant the perfect fruit, you can grow perfect fruit trees. I've heard that there is a chance of another perfect fruit growing randomly if you lose or sell your first one, but I have yet to see that happen in almost a year of playing.

I don't have any perfect fruit trees in my town because I was an idiot and sold my first one. Just recently, villagers have started asking me for perfect fruit. After 11 months of only requesting normal fruit. Oh well. I just say yes and don't complete the request. I hate to say no to my villagers.

This actually happened to me a week or two ago! I was going around shaking my fruit trees and went to stack my pears and went "wait this won't won't stack?" and realized it was a perfect pear from a regular tree. I can't remember if I still had any productive perfect pear trees in my town (I just had a bunch die on me and haven't replaced them yet).

I always keep a storage of perfect fruit somewhere in my town so I can deal with these requests. I haven't had them ask for one every day, but it usually only requires occasional restocks.
