Villager won’t leave house

I’ve been trying to talk to my villagers specifically when they’re outside to see if they have the thought bubbles. Today one of them won’t leave her house, she was sick 12 hours ago and I gave her medicine and she’s changed back to regular clothes and dialogue but it’s been at least twelve hours and she still hasn’t left her house! I’ve had other villagers come outside after feeling better from their illness. Is there any reason she might be staying inside all day?
