I've seen a lot of posts about people selling and trading villagers but I have no idea how it works. How exactly do you get someone else's villager to move to your town? Any information is greatly appreciated
Once a villager is in boxes ready to move out, you can go to someone's town and talk to that villager. They'll say they haven't decided where they want to move and from there you can suggest your town. And that's all there is to it! They'll move into your town the next day or so.
