Villager trade glitches

So my friend wants to give me Lolly, They never ever kicked someone out using amiibo.. If they kick them out using amiibo (this’ll be the first villager they kick using amiibo) will it glitch my town?

and if they move naturally, will it also glitch my town? Idk how this glitch works but I really want Lolly to be neighbors with Raymond so I wanna make sure I won’t get a glitched plot.. ty!

I really don't know.
Before the first patch, the glitch seemed to be related to villagers kicked out by amiibo only but now I've read a few reports about it happening to people who adopted "natural" villagers (unless the original seller happened to be lying).
Could your friend hold onto Lolly for you?
I'd hope that this glitch would get patched soon as so many people are complaining at the point and they patched some of the other glitches relatively quickly.
