Villager "thinking about leaving", but not saying anything about it??

Marshal told me that Stitches is thinking about leaving, but when I tried talking to him about it, he never mentions anything about moving away? Do I just need to keep talking to him, or does this mean he's moving away and I can't stop him?

Usually when I learn through other villagers that someone's moving, they talk to me about it and I can tell them not to, but this time's different, so I'm a little confused. =_=

Save quit then log back on, find him outside and get him to ping (get the surprised expression and run up to you) and he should talk to you about it. He won't bring it up in normal conversation.

It either means he will ping you the next day or you've already missed it. If you're talking to him and he's not bringing it up, he's probably going to ping you tomorrow. If he doesn't ping you tomorrow, talk to him until he brings it up, then ask him to stay. I had to talk to Fang and Mitzi for a really long time after I agreed to let them move, then changed my mind.

Okay, cool. That's a relief, I thought it was too late!

All you have to do is walk away from him for about 5 or so minutes. Stay out of his sight, and after the time is up he should ping when you walk by ^.^
