Villager Superheroes Clothing question

I've been thinking of getting the four Villager Superheroes for my Town. Can anyone tell me if they always keep their costumes the same or will they change just like any other villager. If they change I think thats gonna put me off trying to get them. Thanks.

They can change their shirts I'm going to kill whoever gave Kid Cat a different shirt in my town

I'm going to join the other 5 people and say they change their shirts, just to add the confidence

If you are getting them, gl keeping them in their normal clothes

You could try and make them shirts to take from the Able Sisters. Like if I had Kid Cat, I'd try to use the colour scheme to make a cool "The Flash" or "Robin" shirt. Probs not the best solution, but it's a work around til you can get their original shirt back on them, which seems hard enough to do, because they never seem to wear them when you gift it them.

What would be really cool is to plot reset their houses so they are next to each other and in order.
