I am getting so angry......................Ruby has been in my town for ages with TTing, and yet villagers who I just got ping me before her! I don't know what to do!

LOL yeah I'm having the same issue with Nate, but working on it.
When I have less than 10 characters, I like to start my village up with a new character and check who moves in or see if there's a camper. I usually take in whoever has the same personality type as the person I'm trying to get rid of so the game naturally tries to create a balance by having your target villager ping to move out. Sometimes it doesn't work but most times it does, at least for me

Yes, I agree. I tried every version of ignoring them out there, worked only once. The villager you never want to move always want to move, so try smothering them with love. If they give you their picture, seriously, they always want to move (for me, at least).

Thanks, I am trying as we speak lol..Any idea how long it takes for them to want to move after you start befriending them?

A villager usually pings to move every 4-5 days

A little off-topic, but I noticed one of your dreamies is Rodeo. I've got him moving out on the 9th (I think).
As for this, in my experience the ones I'm friendlier with are indeed the ones that want to move out. You can either do that or straight-out bully your hated villager (which I cannot do for the life of me xD). Push that villager, keep hitting him with the bug net, push them into pitfalls etc.

I'm having the same issue in my cycle town. I had/have! Cole and Gaston there for other people while every other villager has asked to move atleast twice. I eventually got Cole out of my other town to trade, but Gaston has now been there for 9 months without ever wanting to leave. <_<;

Yeah man its so frusterating!! I finally got Ruby to go though! Hallelujah! I noticed something...when a new villager moves in who you dont want, DONT TALK to them! It makes them leave faster in my experience!
