I didn't understand why Maple is in tier 2, but she's camping in my town and now I want her as my 10th villager ** So she is really cute and I've remembered that I love the maple syrup lol

Haha yeah I getcha. I had her in my cycle town and instantly loved her.
I had to give up Lolly for her, but I don't regret it. She really is such a cutie. <3

This. I had Cookie in City Folk. She's real great although I thought of her as niche, a villager with a small, albeit cult following. Not sure if I'd give up any of my favourites for her, but I guess I can see why she's popular. I feel like a total hipster when I say things like "I had Punchy before he was a tier one." and things to that effect. I just had him in my town, I like cats, and I found him adorable. Tiers are a blessing and a curse.

Eh yeah I do agree (and take back my statement about her possibly being tier 1 next update). The reason she jumped within tier 2 was the recent auction on her, I believe her buyout was around 150 tbt? I know it was over 100. Then again, it was just two people going back and forth who really wanted her as she was their dreamie. She does have quite a few lurkers in the Looking For thread though... Idk, I believe her spot is pretty good atm.

Haha <3 I kind of want to msg one of the mods about it again, yet again I don't want to be annoying.
I could be wrong on this but I think the reason it wasn't stickied before was because I had prices posted. Now that I've removed them, I see a better possibility of this getting a sticky.

I can't see why fang is tier 1, he's been voided lately, I think Ankha or even punchy fit his spot better

The thing with void times is you have to take into account how long that villager is in boxes for. I have yet to see Fang in boxes for days and not be adopted. Theres quite a few people posting about him in the Looking For thread as well.

Oh ok well one thing to note is that I think having 20 in tier 1 would fit some in tier 2 who deserve a spot in tier 1, but that's up to you lol

Well, say for the past few weeks, I wasn't seeing his name a lot in comparison to some other tier ones. As of recently, I think I've noticed his name becoming more prominent. Maybe not enough to move up, I'm not sure ^^;;

Ahhhh okay I gotcha. yeah it's definitely possible he could even take Lollys spot if it keeps up. cause I've definitely seen him more around as well.
