Villager Personalities

Are some of you missing villager personalities? I was thinking of getting rid of 2 personalities in my town completely and having 3 lazies, 2 smugs, and 2 normals. I?m not quite sure if it?ll be boring without different conversations since villagers of the same personality often repeat what they say. What?s your opinion?

well the game sort of tries to force you to have all the personalities. So unless you specifically get villagers from the camp or from other players, I think it would be hard to not have a particular personality. Just make sure you have all the PWP suggestions you want! Cause you can only get them from certain personalities. If you only have 7 villagers (3+2+2), the game will move in other personality types anyway. You'd have to fill with 10 villagers to keep others from moving in.

I'm not really a fan of the smug personality in general, but I do like Eugene & Julian so eh. Honestly, there are so many normal villagers that I like, I almost wish I could just have all normals. I think my second town is currently missing an uchi...

I get my villagers from other people so it's fine~ PWPs aren't a problem either because I think I've gotten all the ones I'm using for my town. I just don't want to end up switching out villagers because of their convos/interactions. ;___;

My main town is super unbalanced right now when it comes to personalities >__> I don't have a cranky or a smug, and I have three uchis and two lazies ahah. Hoping to get it balanced back out soon, mostly because I don't want to miss any personality-specific PWPs, but also because I like the conversation variety c:

Ahh, I want conversation variety too but I prefer the character designs of people with the same personality which is a problem... Still indecisive on what to do

In one of my towns I don't have a jock since I never particularly cares for that personality. I didn't really care much about their PWP's either.
In that town I have 3 normals and 2 lazies and I don't get bored. I love those personalities though so I don't mind repeats from them.

In my second town I have 3 normals as well and 1 of each of the other personalities as well. I do like the diversity of conversations.

If it's a personality you love and it doesn't tire you to hear repeats on occasion then I say go for it. ^^

I was going to get rid of my jock as well. I love normals and lazies as well so I'm leaning towards doing it and probably will. Thanks for your input! ;w;

Repeats bug me. I like variety. Atm, I'm missing a smug. I don't see any cons to your situation as to why you shouldn't just remove the 2 villager types you aren't crazy about if you're gonna' be happy with the villagers replacing them anyway, especially if you aren't concerned with pwps.
