Villager personalities and PWP's

Do you ever find that you need to have a certain villager personality in your town just to unlock certain PWP's?

For example, Uchi characters unlock PWP's like the windmill and scarecrow (both or which I want... yes i want the scarecrow ;___;), but it means I have to give up a dreamie just to do that! really unfair...

Have you had to compromise your dream villager list for this reason?

I don't have dream villagers as such, but I had to pass up Savannah, who is pretty cool, because I don't want to have two normals due to the things they suggest. I'd like to either have another snooty or cranky. Or possibly smug.

I'm not that experiences with AS but I have two jock types and they just keep suggesting traffic signs and other boring things like that. One requested the zen clock though, that was pretty nice.

I want to get a even amount of personalities, I never liked most of the Uchi's but unnnf...their PWP's are pretty ._.

I'm missing three personalities, but I have one last space that isn't reserved for a dream villager, which I'll probably use to cycle through other personalities for their pics and pwp.

I'm currently without any smugs or snooties because I'm after the illuminated items and I need peppies for that. I recently got a second peppy villager, so hopefully they'll start suggesting the stuff I want soon!

I don't really mind, especially since I have all personalities except Smug (since Colton moved out)

The PWP's I want (there's only like 3) are suggested by villagers I already have. However I only have one Uchi and I'll keep her until she suggests the bus stop and the picnic blanket.

I'm not too fond of uchis but I really want the picnic basket pwp so I'm searching for one right now, preferably Tammy.

I've never had to compromise my dream villagers for pwp recommendations. I had 2 normals for a long time and that just happened to be the characters that gave the most pwps i like. I also only had 1 uchi, Muffy, and she recommended ALL of the projects uchi can recommend. She wasn't even a dreamy, just someone who moved in right after I made my town, and yet I still got all the uchi projects I wanted.

I need a cranky to get the rest of the zen things that I want to build. Since I do not have a dreamie list, it isn't as much as a problem for me. I do have my only smug moving out in a few days. I will be looking for a cranky to possibly take his place.
