I made a thread about this in the New Leaf days so I figured I'd do it here too.
What nicknames have your favorite villagers given you? Bob called me tater tot and I just about cried over how cute it was. He now calls me burrito. I liked tater tot more but I couldn't say no to him lol.
i've had a bunch and i just got a new one that ive already forgotten. For me me it seems by the time one nickname makes the rounds that ive already been given at least 2 more. ive had iron t, chef, tater tot,faboo, i know theres more i just cant think of them
Apollo, who is my absolute favourite villager, came up with the nickname 'peanut' for me. I thought it was so cute! Best nickname I've had in the game so far!!
The first nickname I let them give me was one I made up: Inquisitor since my town is based on Dragon Age and the flag, town tune, & my main outfits are also from Dragon Age Inquisition. I really didn’t want it to change but finally let Roscoe call me hero. I thought it was still appropriate. Recently though, I had the opportunity to change it, so it’s now Inquisitor again.
Penelope calls me swanky, Cyd calls me skippy, and Megan calls me jetsetter. I changed my villagers around a lot so the rest haven’t given me nicknames yet.

Not too many that I've enjoyed. I let Plucky call me Backbeat which wasn't the worst. The most unfortunate however was letting Carrie call me Vitamin P.

Now when they ask I say no and tell them to call me Flip instead.
Merry called me "superstar" for a long time. Dobie calls me "skippy" right now. And Erik gave me a really weird but cute nickname, too, but I forget what it was... (keep posting the lazy ones, I'll remember when I see it )
Most of them call me "kit-kat" though, which is a name I made up after someone suggested one that was too weird for me. I personally like that one best. And consider this a fun fact for those who don't know- you can sometimes suggest a nickname if you reject one a villager offers.
Also, Plucky asked me twice if she could call me "Cat". I think it's a glitch, because that's my character's actual name.

Groucho clinged on to superstar ever since, but I've never had anyone else come up with a nickname for me. There was a period of time when they used to be obsessed with catchphrases, but never nicknames. I don't get it, I'd love for them to come up with something, but no.
i’ve had a few nicknames over the last couple of months but the only ones i can remember are burrito (given to me by zucker,, which was adorable and i miss it LMAO) and spud, which is my current nickname that the majority of my villagers call me, if not all of them - i definitely miss burrito, though lmao
