Villager never moved out?

As the new update happened, Nana pinged me to move. I accepted. I was told it'd be in 9 days. Fine. Her move out day was for November 12th, she reminded me almost every day she was leaving and I kept telling her to go. On the 12th, I was incredibly busy and missed playing a day. I check on the 13th and not only is she not in boxes, she was milling about and asked me to bury her time capsule. Today, another villager requested to move out D:<

WTF, do we have to ACTUALLY be there in real time for their move outs now?!

is it possible you missed her changing her mind like idk maybe you read it too fast or smth because if she kept reminding you maybe one of those times she said she wanted to stay
i mean if you talked to her daily it's bound to happen, i always ignore the villagers that are moving so they don't change their minds

Never speak with a villager who'll move out.
If you had made many favors to that villager then there are a huge chance of him/her changing their minds.

It happened to Muffy in my newest town that I want to just send her to the void.

Yeah always ignore them if you want them to move.
