Hi guys! First post here n_n sorry if this is in the wrong place?!

So I haven't played AC for a long time, started my game by creating a new character just to see how things are going before actually playing as mayor. I found that Flurry's house is gone. ;_; She said nothing about moving out the last time I played over a month ago.

Is there any way to time travel to before she moved and get her back? I don't know how this stuff works. I'm just so sad because she was my favorite!

Unfortunately, TT won't change anything. What you have to do is 'cycle' 16 villagers in your town, that means having at least 16 villagers move in and then move out in your town. Then, and only then, could you get Flurry back, but only if she comes from someone else's town.
Hope I helped a bit, you'll find more information in the Villager Trading Plaza I think.
Also sorry for Flurry, I have her and I know how wonderful she is... good luck if you go through cycling! :)

you said you started with a new character right? Did you saved (got tom to know where your house is and after talking with Isabell) ? Did you started the game with your mayor or another already created villager? If not, you can quit the game by pressing home button and quit. You should still be able to time travel back to the last day you saved, but again use a new character to check if Flurry is still there and/or if is on boxes already.

Yep, what Tenocht said! I really hope you haven't started up your mayor yet. Do you remember the date of the last time you played? If so, do this:

1. TT back to the day you last played by using your 3DS clock.
2. With your mayor, walk up to Flurry without encountering any other villagers and she should ping you about moving.
3. Obviously tell her to stay.
4. Save and quit, and TT back to the current date using your 3DS clock again.
5. It should now be safe to load up your mayor, and Flurry should still be there! But you can check in with a new character first just to make sure. :)

I haven't started as mayor yet! I'll try that. Can't remember the exact date I last played though haha...

Oh shoot I didn't read carefully enough! Of course you can do that, all is not lost! I really hope this works.

You can go back a few days, but always use a new villager to check first is the house is there or if is in boxes, also check all others villagers as maybe someone else could move instead (unless you dont care for them).

If you haven't loaded your game on your mayor or another already made account, you can still go back in time. Just go to your settings on your ds and change the date to when you last played. then go back and make a new character. See if flurry is still there, if she isn't, then she is gone.

...what Campy said

Do you have an idea? I'd just try out a date first you think might be right, but please make sure to use a new character to check if Flurry and all your other villagers are still there! If everyone is there (don't forget to check if anyone's in boxes), then you can start up your file with your mayor and stop Flurry from moving. If Flurry has already moved, do not start up your mayor, but just quit and move the date further back. Keep slowly TTing without using your mayor until you've found the day where everyone is still around and no one is in boxes!

If everything is as you want, dont forget to save first with the new villager, you can delete it afterwards and load with your mayor.

IT WORKED! <3 You guys are the greatest!! Thank you!
Now I have to carefully TT back to this date. Eep. I figured I hadn't played since May.

So cool! What a relief! I'm so sorry I disappointed you earlier when I said it was too late xD
Thanks to everyone who corrected me, hehe...

Also, for future reference, here's two tricks to make sure no one moves out when you're planning to take a break. They kind of boil down to the same thing you're doing now, but they can also be used in a preventive manner (copy paste from an earlier post):

1. If you're planning to take a break from the game, stop someone from moving on the day you quit. You can then take a break for as long as you'd like without anyone moving out. If you start your game again after a long break, it's more or less guaranteed someone will be thinking of moving, so make sure to find that prisoner villager!

2. Write down the day on which you stopped playing. When you start your game up again, create and log in with a new character to see if anyone has moved. If not, you can start your file with your mayor. If yes, TT back to the day on which you last played and stop the villager from moving. After this, you can safely TT back to your current date and start playing normally again.

:D Glad you got it back, when you are on the correct date, ready to play and with everyone ther, dont forget to talk to all the villagers several times to see if someone is thinking about moving.

Yay! Flurry was saved! Now just check for villager moving rumors, wait until someone pings to move, deny it, and you can safely jump to today's date. Or check day by day for rumors as you TT, ignoring or accepting as you go.
