Villager Mourning and Tribute Thread

When a villager that you love leaves, whether accidental or on purpose, it can be hard. That's why I made this thread, so that players can mourn and give a tribute to their villagers that were lost to the void. (Unless someone adopted them, of course) Giving your villagers a final goodbye will make you feel better.

Lolly moved out today. I'm going through a playthrough where I'm trying all the many amiibo in my collection, so my town is constantly rotating. I decided I'd give Lolly a try but didn't expect to like her, but she's so cute. Her swirly eyes are so zany, and she has so much range of expression. I was hoping to keep her till I got her picture but it was taking too long to get the required friendship level and it was slowing things down a lot. But I'm going to miss her.

I usually don't get sentimental about my villagers, but I was sad about Lily leaving recently. She's very cute, and we were definitely on a trajectory to being good friends! But then Hans appeared in the campsite and I knew I wanted that weirdness in my life.

I usually adopt villagers out -- but the online servers were down the night Lily was in boxes. I had a person lined up and everything. I hope she's found a nice place in the void :'(

One of my starters was Agnes. I wanted to move her out and replace her with Plucky. When she agreed to move I immediately felt guilty. Then I saw the bulletin board message saying that her birthday just so happened to be the day she was moving out. So she never got to celebrate her birthday. Even though she’s not real I felt so mean kicking her out like that on her birthday. After Plucky moved in I got over it pretty fast though. Plucky is extremely cute.
