Villager memory!

Villagers who were adopted by others will eventually recognize the player in the town which they moved in.

It's possible for these villagers still remember the player after moving more than twice?

For example, Chrissy moved out from Mensana and then moved to Acme.

Then she moved to another town with the same name.

Will her still remember the mayor from Mensana?

If it is a different Mensana with a different mayor of the same name, then I believe not. Chrissy would treat them as an entirely new mayor in an entirely different town.
