Villager in boxes won't move to friend's town??

So well O'Hare is in boxes today and someone came to take him, but he never talks about moving to their town.
Only 9 villagers live in their town, soo what else could be causing this problem and what can be done about it?

Did you have someone else come to take him their town?
Maybe they have listed as 9 villagers but one is moving in tomorrow and has their plot of land/house spot picked out?
Also I do not know if this is possible but maybe if they have arranged PWP in a way that there is no more room for any more villagers that might cause issues.

Has the person that came to pick him up had O'Hare live in their town recently?

Are they sure they don't have any plots in their town?

did you invite anyone else to your town before inviting that one person? it's possible that someone else already talked o'hare into moving to their town

- i didn't have anyone else over since tt'ing to this date so this can't be it.
- that's not it
- there are only 3-4 pwps in their town so i highly doubt it

we both restarted our games several times. i really don't know...

That's odd. There was actually a thread a few days ago about someone with a similar problem. Lemme try to find it, maybe that person figured out why.

I honestly can't tell you what the problem is. Did your friend talk and take in anyone else? Like convinced a camper to move in or someone from another town? Try talking to him a few times with your charterer

Even if they convinced someone else to move in it should still work. I once convinced Gayle to move into my town. And the very same day talked to Flora and asked her to move in. In the end only Flora moved in

if they haven't had him before i suggest asking them to run around and check for a new plot that is preventing O'hare from moving in.

haha yeah, papi is moving in as their 10th villager. they didn't see it because the plot is in a corner..
