villager from nook miles ticket not moving in?

i reset my island completely so i could get good villagers and managed to set up the first house. i went and used a bunch of nook miles tickets until i came across a good villager (goldie) and invited her over, then when i started work on the second house, i noticed it had been sold to Puck! ( i dont want Puck, but i don’t mind as long as this means Goldie is still moving in. is she?

Yes Goldie will still move in after you complete the furniture for the normal house plot. You must have completed the lazy plot first which is why it was sold to Puck instead. You have to invite all 3 villagers before finishing the plots if you want to control who moves in.

What @Livia says is correct, Goldie will still move in. In addition, if you want to choose your peppy villager you should island hop before placing plot 2, as I believe that is the peppy villager plot. The first three villagers always move in in a specific order and I think it is lazy, peppy, normal. The other way to tell is the lazy plot needs log furniture, the peppy plot has wooden block furniture, and the normal plot will have wooden furniture.
