Villager Exchange Thread

Quick question: I went and talked to a villager in another person's town to get her to mine and she agreed to come. The person who had her went and tried to talk to her after and it wouldn't let him in the house and gave him a message saying "Moved-Fauna". I have TTed for about a week or so day by day seeing if her plot would show up and it hasn't yet. Does anyone know what's going on?

Usually when I TT after persuading a villager to move to my town the plot shows up quickly. But not this time...and my town only has 8 people right now so it being full isn't the problem.

Do you think time traveling could have caused this? I was one day behind. I was actually kind of afraid time traveling forward might affect something, but when I saw that she had already moved I just went ahead and time traveled back to current time.

Edit: Wait, that wouldn't make much sense actually. You had already left, our games aren't connected in any way so I don't think my time traveling could have done anything.

Obviously I don't have anyone I can trade since he'd be taking up my final spot, but I'm willing to pay 1.5 mil for him. I don't have any rare or DLC items so that's all I got unfortunately ;v;

Do you think time traveling could have caused this? I was one day behind. I was actually kind of afraid time traveling forward might affect something, but when I saw that she had already moved I just went ahead and time traveled back to current time.

I don't know..it shouldn't affect anything considering she still moved out, but I'm literally not getting anything at all.

This is terrible. Hopefully there's someone else on here who's had this experience and can explain what's going on.

The only thing I can think of is that when you left his town, the game didnt properly save. If you go ask a villager to come, but the game doesnt save(Say you get an error,idk if you did but just an example), it basically never happened and his villager would still be waiting for someone to take her.

Nah, everything went fine. Just like when I've gotten villagers from another town.
