Villager clothing?

I was wondering if villagers can wear customized umbrellas/hats/dresses/tanks/sleeve less or long sleeve shirts? Like the ones you designed through Mabel called pro design or just t-shirts?? I have seen villagers wear the designs by someone from anywhere town but I don't know if it is only wearable for villagers as a shirt or not..it would be so nice to see villagers in dresses though!.. Thanks for reading/help ~

I'm fairly certain all villagers only wear sleeveless designs, but they can wear customized shirt designs :>

yes, for shirts anyway. i don't know about umbrellas and such.

i have a couple designs left by a friend in my able sister's and beau is currently wearing the shirt.

They can wear sleeveless and short sleeve
not 100% on long sleeves and dresses

I know for sure they can't wear dresses, umbrellas, or shirts with sleeves (if they do the sleeves just get cut off when a villager wears them)

The villagers wear both long sleeve (as short sleeve) and short sleeve shirts. They don't wear dresses or use the custom umbrellas like they did and only in the GameCube version.

Most of my villagers wear the long sleeved designs but without the sleeves.

the sleeves will get cut off if a villager wears a long sleeve. they will not wear an umbrella design.
