First off - happy birthday to coach he is one of my starter villagers

Anyways, is there any particular way to celebrate the villagers birthdays in new horizons? I stopped at coaches house and him and ed were legit raging lol. I got him a gift which was the bomber jacket. dope.

Is there anything else to do? Cake? Special items? Party hats? Anything?

you could also maybe send him a birthday card? i know that worked in nl but i’m not sure if it’d work in nh but i believe there is a birthday card option for sending mail so it could maybe help boost your friendship with him a bit lol

I sent Katt one on the day of her birthday (I chose the card with the cake on it if that matters—doubt it though) and I got a response the next morning. She specifically reacted to it having been a birthday card, so the game does recognize what you’re trying to do ^ｪ^
