So I’m island hopping with NMTs to get a tree island so I can get the last bugs I need before August ends. Decided to wait until the end of August for some reason to do all of this. I need to get the giant snakehead tomorrow too and the vampire squid tonight or tomorrow night otherwise my OCD will slaughter me.

Good luck with your search! I've gotten all the bugs so far for the months I've played but I got lazy with the fish since I'm not a big fan of fishing, and I don't even know what I'm missing. If you don't find them this time there's always next year!

Good luck with your hunt! I spent an hour trying to catch the vampire squid before I realized that you have to approach it slowly to keep it from speeding away -_-;

thanks for reminding me aha, I have all the bugs and fish but I haven't done much diving at all because I don't really enjoy it, but tonight's the last day of August so I think I'll try to get all the sea creatures of this month.

I understand people's need to catch these critters before they leave. I'm personally, not in any kind of hurry to fill up my encyclopedia, and I'll have something to look forward to next year. There are still quite a few I haven't caught yet like most of the stag beetles, but I find that if I'm not obsessively looking for something, I'll come across it a lot easier.

I get the frustration though. I mean, this game is supposed to be relaxing but at times, it can be anything but.
