URGENT, PLEASE HELP!

I just got my new 3ds and popped in Animal Crossing after I did a system transfer. The date is exactly today's date, 2/17/2016. I do not time travel. I played in this town before my system transfer. When I logged in, same date, Isabelle said its been forever since shes seen me and I lost Bam... but all my neighbors act like nothing happened... I'm totally crushed and lost as to what happened...

Yes. It was set at the current day. I know it wasn't accidentally back a year because I got 99,999 in interest which is a ton...

I played it on my new 3ds before doing a system transfer from my normal 3ds. This is probaby all Isabelle's fault because I didn't want to use her cover plates! Joking aside, I lost Bam, which sucks, so I'm going to try to pick him up from the void in Rosebud... I hope this doesn't happen there too

I don't think that will work until you've completed the 16 villager cycle.

I meant that I immediately wifi'd with my second town to pick my main town's Bam up from the void. I luckily have 9 so I hope he will show up tomorrow.

When I played my AC towns on the new 3ds I got for christmas, it showed as today's date but a totally different time of day than it was on my other 3DS. I don't know why it's a thing, since my DS clocks are exactly the same and in real time.

If you want to be safe with the other town, play until you get a villager ping request for moving, and then deny it. This way, no matter if the 3DS messes up your times or dates, you still won't lose anyone. I think that's a good idea in general for moving between systems actually! Going to write it down for myself. But yes your issue is really weird, and I'm sorry you lost Bam :O

That is crazy weird...I did a system transfer on my N3DS from my old XL and that nothing went wrong...I'm sorry you lost Bam. I hope you get him to move in to your other town.
