UPDATED: Is there a way to tell how many villagers have moved?

So I accidently lost Mira some time ago, long before I read that 16 villagers would have to leave after she left before she could come back.

So now other villagers have moved out in the hopes that eventually enough will leave so she can come back but where in the game can I see how many villagers have left, when I sit by the tree it only gives me date of when people moved in. But that doesn't really help because I don't remember when mira moved out, it was a surprise, I opened my game and her house was in boxes already, but I'm not sure which other animals were moved in already when it happened.

is there any way to find out, I want to know how close I am.

Update: Keaton moved away yesterday and now Mira is on my main street, is there a statistic for how many animals can appear on your main street at once to help be figure out how many have to move before she will be bumped off main street?

There is really no where that keeps a tally if you don't yourself.

If you really can't remember when she left the only other way to know if she can come back is for her to stop showing up on mainstreet.

It tells you when villagers move in (excluding your starter animals.) and maybe just count the ones that appear that you no longer have? Or you can do what the above poster said and just wait until she stops appearing on Main Street.

I think around like 8 and then they start popping up on Main Street. I'm not entirely sure though, but that's what I vaguely remember as the number?

So if she just appeared on main street and main street can hold 8 then I need to move out 8 more, I'm only half way, omg I'm never letting any dreamie move again, i'll play everyday if i have to
