I just don't see the appeal of the overly pastel, kind of tacky looking furniture themes. Like, the princess set? It'd be cute in a different color.... And for me the set that's like, sea stuff or whatever is really an eye sore to me.

Normally I agree with this, in fact, I absolutely do not allow pink flowers in any of my towns, lol. But my mayor of Elenrast has most of the princess series as her main room, and I like it. Adding Poogie and other non-princess items helps, imo.

Leaving the lights off also helps, my goodness! That actually looks like a room I'd want to be in, provided no one turned on the lights.
