Does anyone have the SSB WiiU version of the game?

I registered my DS version, hoping to unlock the Mewtwo download, but I didn't get that you need both games to do so. If you have the WiiU version or know someone who does, and aren't planning to register your Club Nintendo code, would you be able to share it with me? Via private message of course.

Mewtwo won't be available until spring of next year even after registering both games. You may be able to buy a code in the TBT Marketplace but you may need to look elsewhere as a backup.

They're also releasing Mewtwo as a paid download sometime after the 'free release'.


I've registered both copies but they only send out the 2 codes once Mewtwo is actually released.

I'm sure if somebody really wasn't bothered about Mewtwo then they could trade the Smash U code for one of his other games codes. It would certainly erase the problem of losing 250 stars.

Either that, or when you register both versions I was told you get 2 download codes (assumingly one for each your WiiU and one for 3DS versions). When the codes get released, somebody might just not want the 3DS code (I assume that's the version people people are less likely to care about out of the two). I won't be surprised if these codes start popping up on eBay either.

I imagine because a lot of people waited out for the Wii U version, skipping the 3DS one for it, you should be able to find someone nearer the time who'll give you their Smash U code so that you get Mewtwo on the 3DS and they get him on the Wii U.

That way you both get him free. :3

It's true that you'll receive 2 codes. IMO it's just a matter of making sets between DS and WiiU players, and having them share their codes. We have until March 2015.

The UK club Nintendo store has a nice Yoshi doll I got and a nice looking set of Mario Kart 8 badges I hope to get. Maybe the Club Nintendo store is just having a 'drought' of good gifts in your region :/


Are Club Nintendo accounts linked to only one region meaning you only claim gifts in your region? (genuine question, though it looks like sarcasm). It's kind of unfair if you can only pick from a few 'random' gifts specific to one region.

It always has been but I got a cool ? Block with a 7" Mario statue of sorts and it looks cool
But a lot of it is really expensive and bad (i aint wasting a 5th of my games' stars on a wallpaper sorry)
