The 2.0 update added a new feature to the game. Going on boat tours with Kapp'n to distant islands which, which may be in a different season.
According to a certain youtube video, which I'm not going to link, there are 7 seasonal islands you can randomly visit. But you'd have to have experienced said seasons or played beyond a certain date in time to unlock that specific island. In the video it is mentioned that, if you were to travel 1 year forward, you'd have "experienced all seasons" and therefore have unlocked all seasonal islands.
Can anyone confirm or deny that claim?
