Unlimited Purchases from the Catalog

So, last night I noticed that I can order as many items as I want from the catalog in T&T, not just limited to 5 a day. Anyone else have this?

I tested it, and got up to 26 items before I got bored. I then TTd to 5pm to find my mailbox bouncing around from being so full. I emptied it, TTd to before 5pm, then to after 5pm, and my mailbox was full again with other items I ordered. Kept doing this til I got everything... thought maybe I was wrong about the 5-a-day limit, but that's what I am seeing on the interwebs.

I've never heard of that limit. I've only ever ordered ten items max since that's all my mailbox can hold, but they all get delivered at once.

So I call shenanigans on the so-called five items a day "rule".

Like the above user said, i've always ordered 10 max because then i could get them all at once.

Interesting. I could have sworn it used to cut me off at 5 items, and this is kind of the general consensus I've seen on various ACNL sites:
"Only five items can be ordered from the catalog each day in Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. In the rest of the games, you can order up to ten orders per delivery period."

Yeah, I tested the showcase and that still cut me off at 5, but not the shop catalog. Maybe mine was wonky and now it works like it is supposed to? XD

I think there actually is a limit to this. I once had a lot of stuff to buy from the catalog and I remember coming across the limit that time. I can't recall what the exact limit was but it came before 80 items.

Haha! Now you got me interested, too. I'd test it again myself if I had enough items in my new town's catalog. If you end up experimenting this, I'd love to know the exact limit.

"Your order cannot be placed as the post office's distribution center has exceeded its capabilities"

HHS limit is 5, nookling limit is infinity. its just that people would rather order 10 at a time.
