[Tutorial] Better quality screenshots

So I recently discovered a way to get higher quality screenshots from your 3DS! I'm pretty sure it's already known by a lot of people but if I can help at least one person that's radical!

Spoiler: comparison

As you can see, the difference is slim but it's definitely there and can go a long way in making higher quality reference sheets and screenshots (especially edited ones).

Tools needed:

↳ A 3DS
↳ A PC/MAC
↳ A Nintendo ID and set up Miiverse​

Step 1.
Find something screenshot worthy and instead of pressing the L + R buttons like you normally would, press the HOME button.

Step 2
Animal Crossing should now be suspended and you can now go into the Miiverse without it closing the game. The icon to go into the Miiverse is at the top right of your bottom screen.

Step 3
Once in the Miiverse (make sure your are not actively logged into it on your computer yet!) make a new post by pressing the button that says "Post" with a little speech bubble next to it. It should take you to a page with a couple of emotion icons at the top, next to it should be a landscape icon with a plus sign next to it; this is where you get to choose the screenshot we decided on in the first step!

* Uploading to the Miiverse allows you to choose to upload the bottom or top screen! I'm sure that can be useful to someone somehow!
* You can't upload the picture unless you write something in the post, unfortunately. Just put a smiley or something. This is the only mandatory thing though.​

Step 4
Now go to your PC/MAC and open up the Miiverse there. Log in if you haven't already and go to User Page > Activities. You should see your feed of any other screenshots you've posted! Find the one you're looking for, right click and press "Save As" (or whatever equivalent on a MAC) and you're now done!

I too, never knew that you could upload AC pictures to Miiverse. Now I actually might use the thing! XD

good for you however people should post what they want because you dont run the miiverse community
you just ignore them and move on and thats it

I always use miiverse because my sd card is full and it has loads of pictures of my old town which was deleted so I can't get rid of them and what's the difference between the two pictures anyway? I don't see one!

The difference is very clear, you might need to get your eyesight checked.

Calm down, the difference is subtle.

As for this, I like the 3DS picture better than the one on Miiverse in Plasma's post. The one in Virals's post is much more clearly seen when you zoom in, but the time it takes to load up Miiverse and whatever just isn't really worth it to me.
